Itinerario
DAY 1: SPAIN – AMMAN Boarding and departure according to flight plan. Arrival in Amman. Visa procedures. Hotel moving and lodging
DAY 2: AMMAN – AJLUN JERASH – AMMAN MP Option: Breakfast and Dinner COMFORT Option: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Departure to the north of Amman to visit Ajlun Castle, a fortress from the time of the Crusaders located at the top of the mountain and from which you can see a beautiful view. Continuation to Jerash and complete visit of this wonderful Greco-Roman enclave: the Arc de Triomphe, the magnificent oval square, the cardo, the colonnade, the temple of Aphrodite and the Roman theater. After the visit, return to your hotel in Amman.
DAY 3: AMMAN – DESERT CASTLES – DEAD SEA – AMMAN MP Option: Breakfast and Dinner COMFORT Option: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Departure to the east of the city, to visit the so-called Desert Castles. These constructions from the 7th to 11th centuries had diverse uses, such as military forts and inns. At the agreed time, departure to the Dead Sea (depending on traffic, this trip can be made via Amman). Possibility of bathing in its dense and therapeutic waters. After the visit, return to your hotel in Amman.
DAY 4: AMMAN CITY TOUR – MADABA – MOUNT NEBO – PETRA MP Option: Breakfast and Dinner COMFORT Option: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. In the morning we will visit the Jordanian capital, founded 6,000 years ago. Modern Amman preserves few vestiges of its past, but among them the Roman Amphitheater and the Citadel stand out, with remains ranging from the Roman period to the first Islamic period. After the visit, departure by road to the Orthodox Church of Saint George in Madaba, where the first mosaic map of the Holy Land is located. Continuation to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. After the visit, continue to your hotel in Petra.
DAY 5: PETRA MP Option: Breakfast and Dinner COMFORT Option: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Depart in the morning to visit the mysterious and spectacular pink city of Petra, carved into the rock by the Nabataeans. The excursion begins with the crossing through the gorge, called Siq. Visit of the Khazneh (Treasury), a sumptuous royal tomb. Later, we will visit the Roman theater and dozens of funerary chambers of various cultures, houses and caves. Possibility of visiting the Monastery, climbing about 800 steps. Rest of free time.
DAY 6: PETRA – LITTLE PETRA – WADI RUM – AMMAN MP Option: Breakfast and Dinner COMFORT Option: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Departure to the so-called "Little Petra", or “Siq al Barid”, which also has a narrow entrance gorge and buildings excavated in the rock. Continuation to Wadi Rum for a fantastic 2-hour excursion in peculiar 4 x 4 vehicles, driven by Bedouins, to observe the wonders that nature has done with rocks and sand. At the end of the visit, return to Amman. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 7: AMMAN – SPAIN Breakfast (according to flight schedule and opening of the hotel restaurant). Transfer to Amman airport. Departure according to flight plan with return to Spain. End of trip and our services.

Petra
The settlement of Petra is located in a narrow valley , east of the Arava valley extending from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba . The most famous Petra ruins are certainly its buildings carved into the rock of the valley ( hemispeos ), in particular , the buildings known as the Khazneh (Treasury ) and the Deir ( the Monastery ) .
Founded in ancient times by the end of the seventh century . C. by the Edomites , was occupied in the sixth century . C. by the Nabataeans who made ??it prosper thanks to its location on the caravan route carrying incense , spices and other luxury goods between Egypt , Syria , Arabia and the southern Mediterranean .
Often described as the eighth wonder of the ancient world , Petra is without doubt the most precious treasure of Jordan and its most important tourist attraction . It's a huge city carved entirely on the rocks by the Nabateans , an Arab tribe hardworking who settled in the area over 2,000 years ago and became an important city of passage routes linking the silk, the spices and other connecting China , India and southern Arabia with Egypt , Syria , Greece and Rome.
The entrance to the city is through the Siq , a narrow gorge, over a mile long , surrounded by cliffs that rise up to 80 meters high . The simple act of walking through the Siq is an unforgettable experience . The colors and formations of the rocks are dazzling . When the end of the Siq catch your first glimpse the facade called Al- Khazneh (Treasury ) . '
