Seeing the barren appearance of this piece of volcanic land on the Atlantic, it is hard to believe that one day these lands were covered with vegetation. Recurrent drought and reduced agricultural mismanagement and sisters Boa Vista Cape Verde, an arid landscape, almost lunar. Today, the biggest complaint of this island emerging shyly from its coastal ocean is priveliago, with beaches trapped between large dunes and crystal clear waters. The interior sees desert is cooled with an occasional oasis of palm trees adds a touch of greenery to the landscape. The choice of hotels on the island is still limited, so this is a quiet place, away from mass tourism.
