Day 1: Madrid - Bangkok. We get going
Presentation at the airport. Check-in and boarding procedures on a direct regular flight with the Iberojet company to Bangkok. Night on board.
Day 2: Arrival in Bangkok and visit the Temples
Arrival in Bangkok. Transfer with Spanish-speaking guide from the airport to the hotel. Half-day visit to the most important temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr, an ancient temple whose golden exterior houses the largest solid gold Buddha statue in the world. With a weight of 5.5 tons and a height of 3 meters. Passing through China Town, we continue to Wat Pho, the large royal temple complex that houses a 46-meter-long Reclining Buddha and the chedis (tombs) of the kings. One of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Pho, was declared a royal monastery during the reign of King Rama I. We finished the tour by visiting the Marble Temple. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 3: Bangkok - Maha Sawat - Bang Pa In - Ayutthaya
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the province of Nakhon Pathom. Once there we will go to the Wat Suwannaram pier and board a speed boat, called Long Tail. We will sail along the Mahasawat canal. On the way, we will visit a lotus plantation, one of the largest in the area, where we can admire the great variety of this flower, ready to be sent to the famous Bangkok flower market. We will continue our tour to the ancient capital Ayutthaya. We approach the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, which was, above all, the summer retreat of the Royal Court during the 17th century. It should be noted that most of the buildings existing today belong to the period of the reign of King Rama V, and in their structures we see a wide variety of architectural styles represented.

Day 4: Ayutthaya - Lopburi - Phitsanuloke
Breakfast. Departure from the hotel and tour to the Ayutthaya archaeological park. It was the capital of the kingdom of the same name from approximately 1371 to 1700, later becoming the Kingdom of Siam and thus covering a large part of present-day Thailand and neighboring Cambodia. We visited the most representative temples: Wat Chaiwathanaram and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we leave for Lopburi, one of the oldest cities in Thailand, to reach the fun Monkey Temple (Prang Sam Yod - The Sacred Pagoda), which has Khmer origin and dates back to the 13th century. The particularity, as its name indicates, is the multitude of monkeys that have taken possession of the place. Then we continue our journey to Phitsanuloke, the provincial capital and an ideal destination for lovers of natural beauty.

Day 5: Phitsanuloke - Sukhothai - Chiang Rai
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the most sacred temple of Phitsanuloke. Time today to visit the ruins of Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha That, a Royal temple from the 16th century. XIV. Known to locals as “Wat Yai” it was founded by King Lithai of Sukhothai, and contains a famous golden Buddha image. We will continue the visit to the Sukhotai Historical Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and considered the first Thai kingdom (13th century), prior to Ayutthaya. We will take a relaxing bike ride through the flat Sukhothai Gardens, among ruins and lakes, and we will contemplate one of the most important icons of the area, the great White Buddha of Wat Sri Chum (Temple of the Sacred Tree), the hand of which, Covered in gold leaf and resting on his knee, it is venerated with great fervor by the locals.
In the afternoon, we head to Chiang Rai, with a mandatory stop at the picturesque Phayao Lake, in the valley of the Ing River. Lunch at a local restaurant. Hotel accommodation.
Day 6: Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, first stop to visit Wat Rong Khun also known as the “White Temple”, the work of local artist and designer Chalermchai Kositpipat, who started the project in 1997. We will also visit Wat Rong Suean Ten, known as the “Blue Temple”. ” or “Temple of the Dancing Tiger”: this new Buddhist sanctuary has as its characteristic element the play of colors between blue and yellow, which decorates the entire building, and the white color that decorates the main Buddha figures found inside.
At mid-morning we will visit the famous Golden Triangle, meeting point of the countries Laos, Burma and Thailand. From the top of a hill you can enjoy magnificent views of the Mekong River and the Ruak River, its tributary, which geometrically divides the border between the three countries, the famous triangular shape. Next, visit the Opium House.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Departure from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai by road (3 hours) and in the afternoon, visit the city's best-known temple, Wat Doi Suthep, located on the top of a small hill 15 km to the northwest. In this temple, the most sacred in the north, in the afternoon you can hear the monks singing. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 7: Chiang Mai - Elephant Sanctuary
Breakfast at the hotel. We leave early, by road to an eco-sustainable elephant conservation project. We will learn about their particular stories and we will have the opportunity to feed them, under the supervision of the staff.
We complete the visit in an orchid plantation, a crop widely introduced in Thai culture, whose interior contains a butterfly garden with unusual species.

Day 8: Chiang Mai – Bangkok
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Bangkok. Arrival in Bangkok. Hotel moving and lodging.
Day 9: Bangkok - Madrid
Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport to take a return flight to Spain. End of our services.
